Description
It is a single movement violin solo piece suitable for young performers and children, who have just learnt the instrument for a short period of time and have not exposed to contemporary music. It is an ideal piece for children to get exposed to modern music. The music is very chromatic in character while expressive tones and melodic lines are required to blend with the atonal language of the piece. The title is Sercret due to the fact that there are so many secret things that I just can only express through music but not in words. The music begins with tones G which are served as the pitch centre of the whole piece for providing tone centre stability. The structure of the piece is in three-part form. The first part is from mm. 1-24, the second part lasts from mm. 25-42, and lastly the last part lasts from mm. 43-60.
