Description
The concert piano piece is one of my earlier piano works that I have ever written. The piece consists of two movements and the first movement is experimented with neo-romantic style whereas the second movement is featured by neo-baroque style. In both movements, pronounced motivic figures dominate and these serve as important materials for further developments. Also, the form of the piece rather neo-classical. The first movement is cast in a sonata-allegro form in which contrasting themes in different sections are clearly presented whereas the second movement is in a fugal structure.
